Welcome to a Joyful You
Posted on Dec 06, 2016
First, ask yourself how well do you know this yogi? Do you know what they need? If the person is newer to yoga, they may not have all the props necessary for their home practice. Props such as yoga blocks, a strap, and maybe a bolster (yoga pillow) really enhance a home practice and help yogis all over the globe take their practice to the next level. If your yogi friend is already equipped with props, there is no need to worry. Us yogis are big on self-care and treating ourselves well. Gifts such as bath salts, incenses, oils, candles or lotions would do just fine. And if you bundle all of the above, you may find yourself in a suffocating hug (not that it's a bad thing)! I happen to know that your local Trader Joe's or Whole Foods sells gift bundles of natural lotions and bath scrubs for a heck of a deal.
If you're not into the bath or aroma thing, you can never go wrong with a pair of cozy socks. They even make special yogi socks nowadays. They make socks that have little grips on the bottom, as well as toe holes so that the feet can breathe and grip the mat more easily. These are really great to practice in, especially if you are prone to cold feet!
If you are still not sure what to get your yogi friend, give them the best gift of all - the gift of yoga. If your yogi friend has more of a home-practice, why not give them the gift of practicing in an actual yoga studio? A gift card to Joy Yoga Center will make the perfect gift for all of your yogi friends, and even yourself! You'll also be able to receive a $15 gift card for every $50 gift card purchased. So what are you waiting for? Start giving the gift of Joy this holiday season and become the best gift-giver ever!
